The Mission of The Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation (RMEF) is to ensure the future of elk, other wildlife and their habitat.

In support of this mission, the RMEF is committed to:

- Conserving, restoring and enhancing natural habitats;

- Promoting the sound management of wild free-ranging elk and other wildlife, which may be hunted or otherwise enjoyed;

- Fostering cooperation among federal, state, provincial and private organization and individuals in wildlife management and habitat conservation and;

- Educating members and the public about habitat conservation, the value of hunting, hunting ethics and wildlife management.

It is with this mission in mind that the Tucson Chapter of the RMEF celebrates it's success with the local RMEF members and community of Tucson Arizona. We would like to express our many thanks to our founding members and committed volunteers this chapter has had over the years. Without them the Tucson Chapter would not be a prominent fixture in conservation support it is today.
